## Tips for Voice Input

### Speak Clearly

* Enunciate words clearly
* Avoid background noise when possible
* Speak at a normal pace

### Pause Between Ideas

Brief pauses help the transcription identify sentence breaks.

### Review Before Sending

Always check the transcription for accuracy before sending. Voice recognition is good but not perfect.

## Browser Permissions

The first time you use voice input, your browser will ask for microphone access. You must allow this permission for voice input to work.

If you accidentally denied permission:

1. Click the lock icon in your browser's address bar
2. Find microphone settings
3. Allow access for flast.ai

## When to Use Voice Input

Voice input works well for:

* Quick questions when your hands are busy
* Dictating longer content
* Brainstorming and thinking out loud
* Mobile use when typing is difficult

## Limitations

* Requires microphone access in your browser
* Works best in quiet environments
* Accuracy varies with accents and speech patterns
* Not available offline

<Note>
  Voice input uses speech-to-text technology to convert your speech to text. The actual conversation with Flast uses this transcribed text.
