# Plans & Credits

> Understand how Flast plans work and choose the right one for your needs.

Flast uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI features like chatting, generating images, or creating audio.

## How Credits Work

* Credits are deducted based on the features you use
* Different tools consume different amounts
* Credits reset monthly on your billing date
* You can track your usage in account settings

Flast offers three plans to fit different needs:

### Starter (Free)

Best for trying Flast and light usage.

### Pro

For creators and professionals who need more power.

* Everything in Starter
* More monthly credits
* Image generation
* Audio generation with multiple voices
* Image editing
* Reusable prompts

### Ultra

Maximum power for demanding workflows.

* Everything in Pro
* Highest credit allocation
* Video generation
* Priority support

**Flast Lite** is optimized for everyday tasks and quick responses. It is available on all plans.

**Flast Max** offers enhanced reasoning, better response quality, and access to creative tools like image and audio generation. Available on Pro and Ultra plans.

## Managing Your Credits

### Check Your Balance

Your remaining credits appear in the sidebar footer. Click on your profile to see detailed usage statistics.

### What Happens When Credits Run Out?

When you exhaust your credits, access to credit-consuming features is restricted until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.

### Credit Reset

Credits reset automatically based on your plan cycle. Free users reset every 30 days, while paid users reset on their subscription renewal date.

## Upgrading Your Plan

    Navigate to the **Subscription** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a Plan">
    Select your desired plan and complete the checkout process.

  Upgrades take effect immediately. Your existing credits are added to the new plan allocation.
</Note>

## Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription:

* Access continues until the end of your billing period
* Account downgrades to Starter plan
* Your data and conversations remain intact
