Your profile settings let you customize how Flast knows you and how it appears.

Accessing Profile Settings

Open Settings

Click on your profile in the sidebar.

Select Settings

Choose Settings from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Profile

Select the Profile tab.

Profile Information

Display Name

The name Flast uses when addressing you.

​
Nickname

An optional shorter name for casual conversations.

​
Email

Your account email address. Used for login and notifications.

​
Avatar

Upload a profile picture or choose from default options.

Personal Context

Help Flast understand you better:

Job/Role

Your profession or current role. Helps Flast tailor responses to your expertise level.

​
Interests

Topics you are interested in. Flast can reference these in conversations.

Location

Your general location. Useful for time-sensitive information and regional context.

​
Timezone

Ensures dates and times in responses match your local time.

Updating Your Profile

  1. Make changes to any field
  2. Click Save to apply changes
  3. Changes take effect immediately in new conversations

Profile and Memory

Your profile information is separate from Memory:
  • Profile: Basic information about you
  • Memory: Learned context from your conversations
Both help Flast personalize responses, but serve different purposes.
