After Flast responds, you may see suggestion chips below the message. These are AI-generated ideas for continuing the conversation.

How Suggestions Work

Suggestions appear automatically a few seconds after Flast finishes responding. They are based on:
  • The current conversation topic
  • What you might logically want to explore next
  • Common follow-up questions
Click any suggestion to use it as your next message.

Example Suggestions

If you asked about writing a product spec, you might see:
  • “Help me outline the user stories”
  • “What metrics should I track?”
  • “Review my draft for clarity”

Disabling Suggestions

If you prefer not to see suggestions:
  1. Open your profile settings
  2. Find the Show Suggestions toggle
  3. Turn it off
Suggestions will no longer appear in your conversations.

When Suggestions Appear

Suggestions show for most responses but may not appear when:
  • The conversation is very short
  • Flast is asking you a question
  • The response is an error or system message

Using Suggestions Effectively

Suggestions are starting points, not limits. Feel free to:
  • Click a suggestion and modify it before sending
  • Ignore suggestions and ask your own question
  • Use suggestions as inspiration for related topics
Suggestions are generated to help you explore topics more deeply. They are optional and meant to reduce the friction of continuing a productive conversation.
